What the Science Says About Nylah

    95%

saw a significant reduction in hair shedding within the first month.

    93%

saw visible baby hairs with consistent use.

    99%

noticed new hair growth in thinning areas.

What can I expect during the consultation?

You’ll receive a personalised 1:1 session with either a qualified trichologist or dietitian, depending on your booking. They’ll review your hair or scalp concerns, discuss lifestyle and health factors, and offer clear, actionable guidance. The goal is to understand the root cause and suggest practical next steps whether that’s hair care, lifestyle changes, or a referral for further support.

    Will I receive a personalised plan? +

During your session, you’ll receive key insights from your consultation, recommended Nylah’s haircare products or supplements, lifestyle or nutrition advice, and, if needed, referral suggestions (e.g. blood tests, trichologist follow-up). A detailed treatment plan is not included but can be requested at the end of your consultation for an additional fee.

How do I know whether to book with the trichologist or the dietitian? +

Book with the trichologist (Kim) if you’re experiencing hair loss, thinning, scalp irritation, or breakage and want a diagnostic, science-based approach. Book with the dietitian (Jasmine) if you suspect your diet, hormones, or health conditions may be impacting your hair or scalp, or if you're interested in nutrition-led health or hair growth support.

Do I need to prepare anything in advance? +

You’ll complete a short intake form during booking, which helps your consultant prepare in advance. They may follow up with you before your appointment for additional information. Please come prepared to discuss your concerns, share any progress photos, and provide details about any medications or supplements you’re currently taking or have been prescribed, as well as any relevant family history.

Is this a medical appointment? +

No. This is a specialist consultation for advice and guidance. While our professionals are highly qualified, they do not prescribe medication. If medical intervention is needed, they may refer you to your GP or a dermatologist. In some cases, the consultant may recommend a face-to-face follow-up for further assessment, such as scalp microscopy or physical examination. If this is advised, you'll be able to book further treatment directly with the consultant

Can I book if I’m not based in the UK? +

Yes, we offer online consultations via secure video link, so you can book from anywhere in the world.

Can I follow up after the session? +

Absolutely. You’ll have the option to book a follow-up for further sessions, and any specialist treatments. Ongoing support is encouraged, especially if your concern is progressive like CCCA or post-partum shedding.

How much does it cost and what’s included? +

A 30-minute online session is £80. It includes your consultation, a written report, and a personalised hair wellness recommendation plan, or if you’d prefer to visit in person – you can book 60-minute face to face appointment for £136, which includes additional features, such as a scalp analysis with a Trichologist.

What is your cancellation policy? +

We require 14 days’ notice for cancellation, following which you will receive a full refund. If you wish to cancel after this time, we cannot offer any refund on consultation bookings, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours in advance. If you book your consultation to take place within the 14 day period, then you expressly waive your right to cancellation.

Is this service suitable for children or teenagers? +

Our specialists are also equipped to support child-focused consultations and treatments, so yes. Please ensure to include the date of birth on your booking form.
