In 2018, I stood on national TV, ready to share my dream. I turned down investment – not because I didn't need it, but because I knew what Nylah's Naturals stood for. A few years later, I applied for Channel 4 x Lloyds Bank Black in Business programme. I poured everything into that application. But I didn't make it through. I was heartbroken. But instead of giving up, I asked: Why not me? What do I need to do to be ready next time? The truth is… I wasn't ready. I didn't have a team. I didn't have a system. I didn't have the infrastructure. It wasn't rejection. It was a redirection. So, I took what I learned and built the version of this brand I always believed in. Quietly. Carefully. With purpose. This year, I applied again. And this time… the answer was yes!

It all began with a mother’s promise 

When my daughter was diagnosed with eczema, I couldn’t find a single product I felt safe using on her hair and scalp. So I made one. That moment became a mission, to create high-performance, scientifically sound haircare for Black women and girls who are so often overlooked.

Serving the women who need it most 

With nearly half of Black women experiencing hair loss by age 45, we knew our work had to go deeper. So we developed a complete, trichologist-approved hair growth system. Topical treatments. Internal supplements. Targeted tools. All formulated with care, backed by science, and tested with real women.
